My name is Ernie Gerzabek, I am a practising professional visual artist, a retired Chartered Architect.

This online gallery shows a broad range of contemporary artworks. These original paintings and sculptures are happy, colourful and optimistic and have been created for your enjoyment.

My web also provides art related information, discussions of art theories, the purpose and benefits of visual art, and advice to art collectors and students.

abstract and non-representational paintings

Nature inspired abstractions, minimalist artworks, patterns, textures, oriental rug designs and free-form flowing lines and bands of colours.  Some unusual optical illusions and carefully designed golden mean based proportional subdivisions.  My approach ranges from minimalism and restrained subtlety to joyful exuberance, all highly original creations.
